Mark Goodale holds a chair at the University of Lausanne, where he is Professor of Cultural and Social Anthropology and Director of the Laboratory of Cultural and Social Anthropology. He is the series editor of Stanford Studies in Human Rights and the author or editor of thirteen volumes, including Revolution in the Brackets: Traversing Scales of Justice, Ideology, and Practice in Bolivia (Duke University Press 2019), Letters to the Contrary: A Curated History of the UNESCO Human Rights Survey (Stanford University Press 2018), and Anthropology and Law: A Critical Introduction (NYU Press 2017).
