Gail Pool

Gail Pool (1946–2022) was an American writer and editor. She joined Boston Review as an editorial assistant in 1975—the year the magazine was founded—and served as editor between 1977 and 1980. She authored three books, including Faint Praise: The Plight of Book Reviewing in America.
