Carina del Valle Schorske is a poet, translator, and essayist at large in New York City. Her writing has appeared in The Point, The Awl, Transition, Prodigal, No Tokens, and Washington Square, among other venues. She is a CantoMundo Fellow, the MacDowell Colony's 2013–14 Isabella Gardner Fellow in poetry, and a PhD student at Columbia University, where she studies psychoanalysis and race.
