A PhD candidate in Poetry, Orcutt teaches creative writing for Writers in the Schools, University of Houston and Inprint in Texas. Her book VALLEYSPEAK won the 2016 Zone 3 First Book Prize judged by Douglas Kearney and will be out this November.
